10:00am - 10:00am Find out about energy savings for your home or business on Saturday, October 11, at a full day of workshops at the Broome County Public Library, 185 Court Street in Binghamton. Green Bing!!! Is free and open to the public but let us know you are coming by calling (607) 785-6499 and we'll have light refreshments for you. If you are interested in what you can do to lower your energy bills, pay for upgrades with your savings, you will find out how at Green Bing!!! From 10:00 am until 3:30 pm you can hear about how to build and renovate to save money on heating and air-conditioning. Find out the facts about renewable energy, like solar, wind and geothermal. Share your questions and get answers. Pick up "how to" brochures. Discover easy answers to financing energy upgrades. Learn about the jobs of the future and network with the pros. Topics to be covered include: Insulation, air leakage, inefficient heating systems, managing the amount of energy you use today, lighting, air circulation, and the basics of alternative energy.
