26th Annual GreenThumb GrowTogether

9:00am - 4:00pm Location: Hostos Community College, 500 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY 10451 This year's conference includes many favorite workshops from past years, as well as new programming focusing around youth gardeners. We will also have a return performance by the youth dance group who inspired the hit documentary "Mad Hot Ballroom", as well as a keynote presentation by Bobby Wilson, President of the American Community Gardening Association. As the largest community gardening program in the country, GreenThumb is proud to support community gardens in New York City. They have over 600 member gardens serving 20,000 city residents. Since 1978 they've been committed to providing support to help strengthen gardens, strengthen gardener skills, and strengthen communities. GreenThumb's services take the form of materials and technical assistance, including educational workshops.
