Casting a ballot for an environmental leader is the best way to support the environment. But you cannot vote if you are not registered.

In order to vote in the upcoming state legislative primaries, voters must be registered by Aug. 19.This coming Sunday, Aug. 19 is the last day to register to vote for the Sept. 13 primaries for state Senate and Assembly candidates.

With Washington dragging its feet on environmental issues, we need green leadership at the state level more than ever -- so these elections will be pivotal.
