Sunday Is Registration Deadline for September Primary Elections

Casting a ballot for an environmental leader is the best way to support the environment. But you cannot vote if you are not registered.

In order to vote in the upcoming state  legislative primaries, voters must be registered by Aug.  19.In order to vote in the upcoming state legislative primaries, voters must be registered by Aug. 19.This coming Sunday, Aug. 19 is the last day to register to vote for the Sept. 13 primaries for state Senate and Assembly candidates.

With Washington dragging its feet on environmental issues, we need green leadership at the state level more than ever -- so these elections will be pivotal.

For residents of New York who live outside New York City, the state Board of Elections has posted contact information for the individual county Boards of Elections right here.
