With the congressional primary coming up on Tuesday, June 26, NYLCV is pulling out all the stops for our green slate of endorsed candidates.

NYLCV's team phone banks for Grace Meng.NYLCV's team phone banks for Grace Meng. For weeks now, NYLCV staff and volunteers have been embedded with a number of campaigns, including Grace Meng in the Sixth District in Queens.

Our team has been phone-banking, going door-to-door and talking with NYLCV members about Meng's strong record on the environment. To find out where Meng stands on federal environmental issues, click here to check out her responses to our questionnaire.

NYLCV's biggest campaign among the congressional primary candidates is for Charlie Rangel in the 13thd District in Manhattan and the Bronx.

Charlie Rangel. We announced our endorsement of Rangel last week to much fanfare. And from now until the end of the campaign, NYLCV is going long for this environmental champion.

We are sending a mailer to 30,000 households to make voters aware of Rangel's impressive environmental achievements. We will also be making two rounds of calls to voters and placing newspaper advertisements in the leading Spanish-speaking papers to support his re-election.
