Queens House Party Opens New Front In Effort To Mobilize 100K Eco-VotersSubmitted by Dan Hendrick on Mon, 2008-04-28 14:27.
Ted, who is continuing his family's historic legacy of environmental advocacy, spoke about the interconnections between economic growth and environmental protection, and how NYLCV's task is to make sustainability a stronger voting issue. The event was attended by a wide range of community leaders, transportation and environmental advocates, local residents and elected officials, including Councilmembers Eric Gioia and Hiram Monserrate.
