Brooklyn House Party A Great SuccessSubmitted by Dan Hendrick on Wed, 2008-04-23 11:14.
Our goal is to ensure that the environment remains a top priority among the new crop of leaders. Ken also spoke about the lack of media coverage about political candidates' environmental plans, and how our task is to make sustainability a stronger voting issue. To get a look at the environmental goals we've set for the city this year, read our 2008 New York City Policy Agenda and our new Progress Report on New York City's Sustainability Initiatives. For a closer look at our electoral efforts and how you can help elect pro-environment candidates, visit our Climate Action PAC Web site. The event was attended by a wide range of community leaders, prominent lawyers, local residents and elected officials, including Councilman David Yassky and Sen. Marty Connor.
