Schenectady County's Green PlanSubmitted by Dan Hendrick on Thu, 2008-04-10 21:17.
According to the Albany Times-Union, the county will give preference to Energy Star products, pursue green building policies and have the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority conduct an energy audit to identify other carbon saving opportunities. "I've seen that these initiatives bring a stronger community and a stronger economy," NYSERDA President Paul Tonko said at an event to announce Schenectady County's plan.
