Sen. Schumer Fighting for Acid Rain Funding

According to the Press Republican, Sen. Chuck Schumer is currently battling to stop the proposed budget cuts for the Clean Air Status and Trends Network, a federal program that monitors and works to combat acid rain around the country.

The Bush administration is currently seeking to reduce the current budget of $3.9 Million to $1 Million.
