Bill Would Give Brownfield Study Money To Community Boards

A bill on Gov. Eliot Spitzer's desk would give all 59 New York City community boards the ability to get state funds to clean up their brownfields.

At present, only city agencies such as the departments of Transportation or Buildings could apply for the funds, according to the Daily News.
