Yasssky, an environmentalist from Brooklyn, and Gennaro, the Environmental Protection Committee chairman from Queens, are vying for the bill they submitted to be the one that is passed. Both claim their bill has been worked on for "My bill's the bill that I'm going to be hearing, and I'm not going to be hearing Mr. Yassky's bill," Gennaro tells the New York Sun.
