The Journal News makes a great case for the passage of the Bigger Better Bottle Bill, which right now is stuck in the budget bottleneck in Albany.

This bill would expand the nickel deposit law to include most noncarbonated beverages.  The money generated would fund the Environmental Protection Fund. You know, that fund that keeps our water and air clean and our landscapes looking so bucolic.

It's in Governor Spitzer's budget proposal. April 1 is just days away, and we've made it very easy for you to tell lawmkers to stop dragging their feet on the BBBB.
