Crain's Insider is reporting today that the Empire State Development Corporation has done a "clean sweep" of its top officers. Here's the list of the people who were dismissed:
- John Bacheller, senior vice president for policy
- Ann Hulka, senior vice president for real estate
- Eileen Mildenberger, COO
- Frances Huppert, senior vice president for design and construction
- Kelly Jones, regional director for New York City
A few people will be staying. They are:
- Frances Walton, CFO
- Anita Laremont, General Counsel
And there are a slew of new appointees. They include:
- Darren Bloch, vice president of external relations
- Jennifer McCormick, vice president for policy and programs
- Jennifer Rimmer, vice president for subsidiary development
- Shaifali Puri, senior adviser to President Avi Schick
- Errol Cockfield (of Newsday fame), press secretary

NY Post reports another employee dismissal: Wendy Leventer, who, as president of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Development Corp., was overseeing the Brooklyn Bridge Park project. The Spitzer administration is on a mission to clean up ESDC, which under Pataki was accused of frivolous spending.
