Submitted by Stacy Feldman on Wed, 2007-03-07 11:40.

Crain's Insider is reporting today that the Empire State Development Corporation has done a "clean sweep" of its top officers. Here's the list of the people who were dismissed:

  • John Bacheller, senior vice president for policy
  • Ann Hulka, senior vice president for real estate
  • Eileen Mildenberger, COO
  • Frances Huppert, senior vice president for design and construction
  • Kelly Jones, regional director for New York City

A few people will be staying. They are:

  • Frances Walton, CFO
  • Anita Laremont, General Counsel

And there are a slew of new appointees. They include:

  • Darren Bloch, vice president of external relations
  • Jennifer McCormick, vice president for policy and programs
  • Jennifer Rimmer, vice president for subsidiary development
  • Shaifali Puri, senior adviser to President Avi Schick
  • Errol Cockfield (of Newsday fame), press secretary
The NY Post reports another employee dismissal: Wendy Leventer, who, as president of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Development Corp., was overseeing the Brooklyn Bridge Park project. The Spitzer administration is on a mission to clean up ESDC, which under Pataki was accused of frivolous spending.
