Okay, not exactly. But what really had everyone talking was the introduction of Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum (who hosted the event) by City Councilmember Michael McMahon: "Thank you Mayor, I mean Public Advocate Gotbaum..."

Does he know something we don't? Maybe not. According to New York Magazine, Gotbaum has big '09 ambitions. They seem to think that she's maneuvering to replace Bloomberg. Her response: "I'm not ruling it out."
